The buzz about Climb Against the Odds continues as our climbers adjust to normal life below 10,000 feet. 

Local climbers Paul Engstrom, Johanna D'Arcy, Jen Bray and Linda Chitwood were featured in the latest Mt. Shasta News story on the Climb:

“It went well,” Engstrom said. “It was a great group of
people. You really bond up there. And it’s a great cause… I was
pleased to raise the money and bring attention to breast cancer.”

This morning climber Kristin Winchell and Breast Cancer Fund Development Manager Marla Stein were guests on Jefferson Public Radio talk show, the Jefferson Exchange.

Kristin talked about the feeling of summiting Mt. Shasta and Marla discussed the Breast Cancer Fund's prevention work, in addition to her experience coordinating the event from the perspective of someone who has had breast cancer herself.
