A Chicago Tribune article about the class-action lawsuit that Organix beauty products recently settled for $6.5 million, cites our Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, and touches on how cosmetics and personal care products companies make meaningless "organic" and "natural" claims about products.

"The take-away: If organic is important to you, read the fine print before you buy or apply to your body."

The Wall Street Journal also reported on the lawsuit explaining how Vogue, Organix's owner, is among several personal-care companies that have come under fire from the Center for Environmental Health,  for allegedly marketing products as organic while failing to meet California's standards for using the label.
