As the evidence piles up about the devastating effects that prenatal chemical exposure can have on later-life health, we must consider what more can be done to protect pregnant women from toxic chemical exposures.
We need to reset the clock to a time when the public was not exposed to 84,000 unregulated chemicals, a time when mothers didn’t have to worry about their daughters entering puberty before they graduated from elementary school…
Unfortunately for these women workers and for all of us, many industry and government leaders refuse to act based on biological plausibility. Instead, they prefer plausible deniability.
